FACULTY ACCESS TO STUDENT RECORDS
GCSU Policy: Faculty may access student's records via the web through the PAWS site. It is expected that faculty members who have this confidential information will exercise professional caution in its use, neither revealing it to unauthorized sources nor conveying it to the student in a manner which might prove detrimental to his/her progress.
GCSU Procedures: Under the Georgia Open Records Act all requests for inspection and copying of official records should be forwarded to the Custodian of Public Records, who is the Director of Legal Affairs.
