Section 10.02.00 - EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN
The Office of Emergency Preparedness and Occupational Safety, a Division of the Department of Public Safety has responsibility for planning and carrying out of the university response to emergency situations.
Section 10.02.01 - PURPOSE
To ensure preparedness and appropriate response with timely recovery through the termination phase from natural or manmade hazards which may affect the University community.
Section 10.02.02 - POLICY & PROCEDURES
Public Safety's responsibilities for activating the Emergency Action Plan are:
1. The Public Safety Department will immediately contact the following people and state the existing conditions:

2. Secure all disaster areas and any traffic control that is necessary.
3. Provide on-the-scene emergency care as necessary.
4. Provide emergency transportation from areas.
5. Conduct all unauthorized personnel away from the area.
