DEPARTMENT PLANS FOR ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT
In order to assure multi-faceted assessment, the faculty of every academic department at GCSU must have a plan for at least one assessment strategy in addition to the Student Opinion Survey.
The additional assessment plan may have several options for faculty to select from. If that is the case, faculty members must inform the department chair of the additional assessment option they plan to employ during that academic year at the beginning of the fall term.
Departments must submit a written explanation of their additional assessment plan to their college dean. Departments may modify this assessment plan as they see fit, but if they do so, they must submit the revised plan to the dean's office.
