COURSE DELETIONS
GCSU Procedures: At times the departmental offerings may need to be changed through the deletion of courses. This deletion is necessary when a course is no longer a viable part of the curricular offerings of the department or because there is no likelihood that the course will be offered regularly due to the lack of faculty expertise. Deletion of a course should be carefully considered by the department before recommendation to the dean of the college. When a course is deleted the catalog should be updated as quickly as possible to reflect the deletion.
A course is not deleted until the deletion is incorporated in the Master Course File, forwarded to the Registrar and reflected in the catalog.
