ASSESSMENT-PLANNING REPORT PATHS

Both the electronic APR system and MS Word format APR reports ensure a means of planning based on comprehensive assessment of learning outcomes and/or unit effectiveness evaluations.

Department chairs submit effectiveness evaluation reports for their units and assessment of learning outcomes reports for their degree programs; heads of academic support offices submit effectiveness evaluation reports and/or learning outcomes assessment reports, where relevant, for their units. Completed reports are submitted to up the chain of authority, to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs or other Vice President as appropriate to the reporting line. Deans, associate and assistant vice presidents, and the Vice Presidents each file an "Administrative Response," to indicate decisions made and actions taken in response to assessment.

These administrative summaries are used to produce the president's Annual Institutional Report.
