ADMINISTRATIVE APR RESPONSE REPORTS

Completed academic APR reports are reviewed and responded to by deans and associate vice presidents. In turn, their responses are reviewed and responded to by the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, who fills out an administrative response report for the entire academic affairs division. (See 3.05.02.03)

The administrative response reports should indicate decisions made and actions taken in response to unit effectiveness evaluations and degree program assessment. They should be shared with the academic units and used to help determine goals for the next round of planning, effectiveness evaluation, and assessment of learning outcomes. Administrative response reports are passed up the line of authority and should also be sent electronically to the relevant supervisor and, once approved, to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness for posting.

The administrative response templates and instructions are available at the Academic Assessment intranet site (http://info.gcsu.edu/intranet/Academicassessment/), under "Assessment Planning Record."
