The club has adopted a portion of Fishing Creek as
part of Georgia's Adopt-A-Stream
monitoring program. Once a month, we test for chemical elements in the
creek, and four times a year we also search for biological indicators. The
stream is relatively healthy by our accounts, but we are monitoring it to keep
track of changes.
