The GCSU Environmental Science Club constitution and application were submitted 5 September 2003, listing 15 members and Shea Groebner as president. The constitution and application form were re-submitted on 5 November 2003. Shea Groebner and faculty advisor Doug R. Oetter attended the Student Government Association (SGA) meeting on 11 February 2004 to gain SGA approval. The club was officially recognized in a letter from Eddie J. Howard, Director of the Department of Student Activites, dated 7 April 2004.
The Club's current SGA Senator is TBD.
