Georgia College & State University, the liberal arts university in the University System of Georgia, will provide an excellent setting for the Institute. Participants will meet in the newly renovated and expanded GCSU Library and in the Arts & Sciences Building. As Flannery O'Connor's alma mater, Georgia College & State University is the home of O'Connor studies.
Milledgeville, Georgia's antebellum capitol, was Flannery O'Connor's home for most of her adult life. She completed the vast majority of her published fiction while living at the family farm, Andalusia.
