Back to TopWhat kinds of books are appropriate for the Paperback Exchange?The Paperback Exchange is designed to help you share your gently used, mass market paperback books. A mass market paperback is a small, usually inexpensive paperback edition of a book that is published after the hardback version has been in publication for awhile or has begun to decline in popularity. They are usually printed on inexpensive paper (the pages may feel somewhat scratchy and are usually off-white). Both fiction and non-fiction paperback books are acceptable. However, please do not leave textbooks. Please use Reason, Respect, and Responsibility when choosing which books to add to the Paperback Exchange Collection. Back to TopDo I have to leave a book every time I take one? Do I have to take a book every time I leave one?No. The GCSU Library Paperback Exchange is and will be whatever you make it. You may take any book(s) that interest you without replacing them. You are not required to return books to the Exchange after you have read them, unless, of course, you hope that others will read them and enjoy them as much as you did!
