Acquisitions coordinates the selection, purchase and receipt of books, serials, electronic resources, microforms, videos, supplies, and equipment for Georgia College & State University Library.

Collection development is largely the responsibility of the faculty in each discipline. Acquisitions serves as the primary contact point for faculty selectors and departmental liaisons.

Requests for purchase are collected by the departmental liaisons and forwarded to Acquisitions, Library, CBX 043. Order slips are available in the Acquisitions office, or by calling 0993. Or you may submit your request on our electronic order form.
