Press Release: Full runs of O'Connor scholarly journal offered to public high schools

(Milledgeville, GA)----Public high schools around Georgia may receive free a complete run of the The Flannery O'Connor Bulletin and Flannery O'Connor Review, a scholarly journal published by Georgia College & State University.

The offer is being made by the staff of the journal, according to Dr. Bruce Gentry, professor of English and editor of the Review. A complete run consists of 28 volumes of the journal plus an index to volumes 1-15.

GCSU has been publishing the journal about its most famous alumna, Flannery O'Connor, since 1972. Once called The Flannery O'Connor Bulletin, it was renamed the Flannery O'Connor Review in 2001. Taken together, the Review and Bulletin constitute the world's longest-running journal devoted to the study of a woman writer.

"We want to donate the complete run to the library of any public high school in the state of Georgia that requests the donation," said Gentry.
