Announcing the O'Connor Collection FellowshipsThe Flannery O'Connor Review, in conjunction with Special Collections at Georgia College & State University, is pleased to announce the availability of short-term awards of up to $500 to individual researchers studying the Flannery O'Connor Collection housed in the GCSU Library and Instructional Technology Center. The fellowships require the on-site use of materials from the O'Connor Collection. The O'Connor Collection Senior Fellowship is generally awarded to a teacher or independent scholar who has completed a terminal graduate degree program. The O'Connor Collection Junior Fellowship is generally awarded to a student in a graduate degree program. Fellowship applications are due 1 Aug. each year for work in the Collection during the following calendar year. In other words, applications are due by 1 Aug. 2009 for work anytime in 2010. Award recipients will be announced by 1 Sept. each year. The Flannery O'Connor Review may award one senior fellowship and one junior fellowship each year; it may decline to award either or both fellowships in a given year.
