Two photographs from the Keeler collection showing albinos of the Cuna Indian tribe from the San Blas Islands in Panama. Members of the tribe with normal skin pigmentation are shown as well. In the past, the Cuna believed this condition was caused when a mother looked at the moon too much during pregnancy, thus the origin of the term "moon children."
