Feminist Theory Website

Guide to Uncovering
Women's History in Archival Collections
Provides links to women's studies archives by geographic location with
brief annotations about the holdings of each archive listed.
Matrix
An ongoing project to collect and make available all existing data
about all professional Christian women in Europe between 500 and 1500 C.E.
Both textual and material sources, primary and secondary, are included
although the database is primarily comprised of unpublished archival evidence.
Medieval
Feminist Index:
Bibliography on women, sexuality, and gender (including masculinity
and male homosexuality) during the Middle Ages. Indexes more than 300 journals
as well as many essay collections. A work in progress, all years of coverage
(1994) are still incomplete.
National Museum of Women in the Arts
Includes an online tour with the museum's founder, an extensive table

and French origin. Selected by Mary Halnon to form a more complete and
varied picture of the life of American women during this time than can
be found in Alexis de Tocqueville's Democracy in America. Writings
