Health, Physical Education, and Recreation Microfiche

Georgia College & State University subscribes to the Microform Publications of Human Movement Studies, a non-profit component of the International Institute for Sport and Human Performance (IISHP). The HPER fiche collection contains theses and dissertations in the fields of health, physical education, recreation, exercise and sport sciences, sport history, and sport related issues in the humanties, social sciences, and dance. NEW: Get online copies of some of the microfiche recently added to the collection. Go to https://millrace.uoregon.edu/kinpubs/newsearch.cfm and search available files. Full-text editions are in PDF.

You can limit your search to only HPER microfiche items in GIL.

1. Go to the library's catalog, GIL.
2. Select Keyword Search.
3. Select Narrow My Search in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
   
4. Then scroll down to Location and select HPER Microfiche.
5. Finally, set the limit by selecting the Narrow My Search button.

If you have a message in blue telling you "Search Limits are in Effect!" you did it right. Now you just enter your term like any other search.

The HPER fiche is located in the gray cabinets past the public access computers. And they are shelved by the author's last name.
