GALILEOSearching Individual Databases You will find that the native search screen of a database affords you more options for refining your search than GALILEO's federated search screens. If you want to bypass the federated search screen and search an individual database, click on the "Articles & Databases" tab. This will give you a list of individual databases that are relevant to your topic and you can perform your search in a database's native interface by selecting the database from the list.
After you select the database, you can perform your search in the native interface of the database, as in the example below from the Sociological Collection database.
After you execute your search you can view the full text of the articles by clicking on the links that read "HTML Full Text" or "PDF Full Text."
For some articles, you will retrieve a citation but not the full text, such as the example below. When this occurs, follow the link to see if the article is available either in another database or in your library's collection.
As you can see, this article is available in the database Proquest ABI Inform Complete. To access the article, just click on the link to the database.
