Stuck on the Pipe: Building an Acoustic Array

Odinaka M. Ezeokoli, Amy Turns Marshal, Johnson Corey McTeer, Stephen Wilson, Dr. Ken C. McGill

A method for constructing an acoustic array has been designed. By using the flow of fluid through a large tube and producing a sound into this tube, the speed of sound can be calculated. The use of special microphones and an oscilloscope will produce a series of sine waves to be used for the speed of sound calculations.
