Dr. Charles Martin, Center Director
An evaluator with over 20 years of experience in the field, he has led evaluation projects in a range of educational, and governmental settings. These include projects funded by the US Department of Education, the National Science Foundation, the Department of Health and Human Resources, as well as projects for state departments of education and state agencies. Most recently he has evaluated state systemic initiatives in math and science, out of school time programs, and child access and visitation and pregnancy prevention initiatives. He is also engaged in implementation and evaluation of technology projects through the Georgia Digital Innovation Group. Prior to coming to GCSU, he worked for the University of Georgia Performance Assessment Laboratory where he developed assessment systems for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. 
Dr. Ted Anders,Coordinator for International and Philanthropic initiatives.
Dr. Anders’ background is in educational psychology and he has worked with major international philanthropic organizations in Europe, Africa and Asia and has productive relationships with international leaders in philanthropic efforts. In his role, he works to establish relationships between the Center and these organizations with the goal of supporting philanthropic efforts, providing evaluation services, and creating service learning opportunities for university faculty and students. His current projects include evaluation of the Tibetan Children’s Village School, Lion’s Quest, and the Thank You Small Library Program. 
Dr. Martha Daugherty, Lead Evaluator.
Dr. Daugherty has over 12 years of evaluation experience. Her evaluation projects involve extensive work with public school systems. They include work for the Georgia Department of Education evaluating both the state’s Innovation Grants program (three projects) and its Learn and Serve program (three projects), and eCore evaluation for the Board of Regents. Most recently she has served as lead evaluator for the Department of Human Resource’s Middle Georgia Child Access and Visitation program.
Dr. LeAnne Dickey-Berry, Lead Evaluator.
Dr. Berry has been an evaluator for more than 15 years. Her specialties are survey research and evaluation of large systemic initiatives. She has served as an external evaluator for a number of high profile projects including the Partnership for Reform in Mathematics and Science, a National Science Foundation grant to improve P-16 education in mathematics and science and the U. S. Department of Education PT3 program designed to teach future teachers how to use technology to enhance teaching and learning. She is currently the lead external evaluator for a five-year 21st Century after-school project serving students in grades 3-12 and for NSF research projects.
